They study the production and distribution of goods, resources and services within society. The economics major at 麻豆社 State University prepares students for a variety of careers in government and in the private sector. Economics majors may also choose to pursue graduate studies in areas such as law, business, urban planning, journalism and more.

Top students may be invited to participate in Beta Gamma Sigma, an honor society for the top 10 percent of junior and senior business students.
